Saffron Caterers and Events is excited to be working with Grove House and Parkstead House.  Saffron Caterers and Events is a family-run company based in London.  The team consists of creative and talented individuals who are, simply put, passionate about food and events.  Saffron Caterers and Events brings together the creative flair and passion for food of Gareth Thomas and organisational and event management skills of Kelly Barnes.

Saffron Caterers was the brain child of Gareth Thomas, a leading UK chef who trained at the prestigious Leith’s Cooking School before working for culinary luminaries Gary Rhodes and Jean-Christophe Novelli.  With more than ten years’ experience in the catering industry, Thomas and his team work closely with clients to provide bespoke menus to their individual needs. 

Kelly joined Gareth and his team after running events at the BBC for 15 years.  Kelly also sang with one of the UK’s leading function bands and has performed at hundreds of weddings and events all over the UK and overseas.  

Saffron Caterers and Events provides the full event management service focused on delivering an experience completely tailored to their client’s specific needs.  They spend time with clients to fully understand their preferred tastes before creating tailored menus and follow up tasting sessions.  Using locally sourced, seasonal produce to create award winning menus, they are committed to providing unique and memorable experiences.
